Training with one of your best mates is great. When that friend happens to the absolute best in the world at what she does...it's really another level. I've been really lucky to be able to train with shot put legend and all-round champion Val Adams while her coach Jean Piere Eager is in New Zealand. Val optimises a train to win gold medal attitude. She is an inspiration as a friend and it's awesome for JP to be in Auckland for the next couple of months. We had a another great session yesterday and I'm looking forward to training with the Adams/Eager/McGuigan team next week. Merci beaucoup ma soeur!
